Best of 2012

Happy New Year!!!!

I'd like to start this post by saying that I am way behind on blogging. I haven't blogged several weddings, my favorite birth of all time, a bunch of personal stuff, and more. Therefore, my new years resolution is to blog a whole lot more. To create a habit of it. I would love a few nudges along the way if I don't blog, or some "hey, we are reading this" as some encouragement.

On to a few of my favorite people, moments, and photos of the year. There are a ton and this post doesn't even begin to cover them all! I've been so fortunate this year to do the most of what I love the most, which is couples, brides, and weddings. But I have really enjoyed the few other sessions I've taken this year like a birth, a few familys and more. I hope 2013 is as amazing as 2012 was for me, if not even better. I already have some amazing couples on the books for next year and I can't wait! Thank you all for making 2012 so amazing!

Maggie - 2012 Southlake Senior

I was so excited for this session because I knew it would happen on a ranch with horses. Then it rained and had to be rescheduled and I was sad. But one week later, with some amazing weather and perfect skies, I traveled to Pottsboro, TX to the ranch where Maggie's horses are boarded. I loved getting to see how much Maggie loved her horse Dakota, and her mom's horse Ranger. She just lights up when she is around them, and it made for some great pictures! Oh, not only is she gorgeous, she's super smart, and is thinking about going into some in the math/science related field.

Daniel - Senior 2011 - Wills Point Portrait Photographer

Meet Daniel. He's my cousin. I can't believe he is graduating next weekend! Then he is off to school in Tyler, TX. I saw this metal recycling place next to some really great like and green trees. So we stopped for pictures. Being the monkey he is, he climbed up the fence onto the metal bales a good 15 feet or so high. Made for some awesome photos though!
