I am soooooo excited to get to share this beautiful wedding! Teddy and Leslie had an absolutely perfect wedding in Anna, Texas at the First Christian church with bright blue skies on one of the hottest days of the summer. She chose the chapel for obvious reasons... it's gorgeous! Pretty white recently renovated church where they kept as much as the original church as possible white updating the necessary stuff and adding a large room and kitchen that was perfect for the reception. It was a completely DIY wedding and really reminded me of my own. Leslie and her family and friends did pretty much everything in a vintage book theme with soft creams, pinks, browns, and greens. They made her bouquet with handmade flowers, and she came up with a unique idea for the bridesmaids to carry a book and a lantern, and the maid of honor carried the ring box. The guys had paper flower boutonnieres - love them! I love how she had each girl wear a different color (the bridesmaids dresses were hand maid too!) Along with so much DIY she used family photos and items of her mothers like her dress as decor, and they cut the cake with Leslie's parents knife and cake server. Leslie even had her parents rings attached to her bouquet. They also incorporated Teddy's heritage into their day from the las arras (wedding tokens) and the lasso as well as the food. Leslie really outdid her self with Teddy's cake table because he loves the Cowboys and loves football. I think the best part of this day was seeing how happy they are. Teddy was all smiles all day long and Leslie really glows in his presence. I wish you both the best and am so blessed to get to photograph such an important day!
