Terri booked me, never having met me, almost a year ago! It's been a long wait for Terri and Jason's wedding! Fortunately we did get to meet before the wedding during Terri's bridal session and we had a great chance to talk about her wedding! Her and Jason and her mom and basically most of the town of Windthorst put this wedding together. They did a beautiful job! They transformed the Parish Hall into a beautiful reception area, added a bunch of Aggie themes like A&M water bottles and the colors of the wedding and more. Terri said during their reception when she thanked all her guests and those that worked hard to put the wedding together that Jason never asked her where she wanted their wedding to be. He knew she would want it at home, in Windthorst, at St. Mary's where her parents and grandparents were married! It was a drive for all those to make it from Houston and all over Texas (even out of the country!). So I'm so thankful and honored that she chose me and Seth to document their wedding day in the little town of Windthorst where there is good food and great people and a beautiful church! Congrats guys! I hope Ireland was amazing! Seth found this little spot to photograph Terri's shoes! I love the old stones! I rarely get a chance to photograph rings before the ceremony or have much time to do it at all. But the amazing planning Terri did allowed for me a little more time and I love how I got to incorporate their A&M rings into these shots! Terri's bridesmaids were amazing! It had rained basically the whole month before and was even supposed to rain on their wedding day but it didnt! However, the ground was soggy mush and these girls helped Terri out to the grass in their heels for their portraits! This is Thor. He is Terri's nephew and is so adorable, albeit a little camera shy! I absolutely love the series of shots I got of Terri and her beautiful mom! I didn't even recognize her when I first saw her! She looked gorgeous for the wedding! Seth got some cool shots of Jason getting ready! Such a gorgeous church! Whoop!!! So.... this amazing wedding party trekked up a mushy hill in the hot sun so we could get this shot! Terri had seen a similar shot before where you could see the church behind the wedding party and the only way to get there was a climb! I seriously love the shot below Seth captured! Terri and Jason must have taken dance lessons for their first dance! It was perfectly choreographed, Jason twirled Terri all across the dance floor!
