I was so excited to photograph Bill & Katie's wedding in downtown Fort Worth at St. Patrick's Cathedral. It's a beautiful church with a beautiful area around it. Katie and Bill got ready elsewhere and showed up ready for their first look which was fully of happy tears. I think the whole day was full of happy tears. They are one of the most in love couples I've seen. All their stresses went away and they had lots of fun during their wedding full of smiles and stolen kisses. During the reception Katie wanted to have a cake pull where her single friends come and pull a charm from their wedding cake. Each charm has a meaning, so the ring charm means that lady will get married soon and the stork means a baby is in their future. Katie and Bill also chose to have a Second Line where they twirled umbrellas and handkerchiefs (their awesome custom made umbrellas were unfortunately locked in the church but they found an umbrella and kept on going!) to dance around the room and out towards their exit. Such a fun and color alternative to bubbles and sparklers! I also love that Katie chose her lace back dress, it's so flattering and she found those awesome bridesmaids dresses on Amazon! I also really love how the purple works so well with the church doors! Perfect! Thank you Katie and Bill for having me photograph your wedding!
