Katie & Josh | Wichita Falls, TX.

When I met with Katie & Joshua I could tell how well the two of them were matched. They finished each other’s sentences and were equally excited about celebrating their day with their friends and family. Katie wanted to do a first look with her dad, which was so sweet because he was grinning ear to ear the entire time. In memory of her late mother, Katie chose to wear her mom’s earrings on her special day to keep her close. Her dad helped her shop for her dress and select out her mother’s pearl earrings to wear and I have to say her dress choice was fabulous!!! Katie and Josh also had their own first look before the ceremony which allowed them to take all their wedding party and family photos before hand. I loved getting to see their families meet and talk before the wedding as they waited for photos. Kandace Burns Beauty did a fantastic job on Katie’s makeup! I’m not sure how Kandace does it but no matter how hot it is none of my brides look hot or sweaty, it’s a miracle in the Texas heat! House of Florals created the flowers and the rest of Katie & Josh’s family came together to decorate and put their wedding together. Their wedding was fantastic and just before the sunset they headed off to Canada for their honeymoon!

It has been so wonderful getting to know this couple over the last year. After so many years apart, going to different schools and working summer jobs in different towns, they finally get to be together!!! Kayla and Zack were married at Grace Chapel with their reception following at The Stone Palace. They decided to do a first look and I was very surprised when it was Kayla that teared up first! We really lucked out with the timing of clear skies, because it was sprinkling on us throughout photos and then right during the ceremony it started pouring and it cleared up by the time they go to the reception. It then proceeded to rain some more before stopping before they left for their honeymoon! Kayla and Zack are a fantastic couple and we wish them all the best!
